What our text messages are, how you opted in, and how to stop them.

The programme

Major Key Locksmith LLC sends pricing information, booking links, and job updates by text message to customers who have asked for them.

How you opt in

You call our published business number, hear an automated menu, and press a key to ask us to text you pricing or a booking link. Pressing that key is your opt-in, and we send to the number you called from. You can also give us your number when you book a job.

We do not purchase, rent, or upload phone numbers. If you have not contacted us, we will not text you.

How often

Message frequency varies and depends on what you asked for. In practice it is one or two messages in response to a request, plus updates about a job you have booked.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for our messages; your mobile carrier may.

Stopping them

Reply STOP to any message and we will stop. You will get one final message confirming it, and nothing after that. You can opt back in at any time by calling us and asking again.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Two numbers, and why

Automated messages — pricing, booking links, job notifications — come from our dispatch line. Conversations with Tim happen on 973-922-3597, the number on the van and on your invoice. If you reply to an automated message and need a person, call that number.

Privacy

How we handle your details is on our privacy policy. The short version: no mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
