Front, back, side, basement, garage entry — anything that leads outside.
Common on doors with glass panels — a keyhole instead of a thumb turn on the inside. These are one lock but two cylinders, so it changes the price.
Confirmed on site before any work begins. If it is less, you pay less.

Look in the box. A plain key-operated knob or deadbolt is mechanical. Anything with a keypad, fingerprint reader, app or battery is electronic.
The service charge is paid once for the visit, so doing them together is much cheaper than having us back out.
If you are taking an old lock out and putting the new one in its place, the holes are already there and there is nothing to cut. If the door has no lock in it at all, we have to cut the door and the frame to make it fit.
We will tell you honestly whether the lock you bought is any good before we put it on your house. If it is not, we will say so and you can decide — you are not committed to fitting it just because we drove out.

- A text within the hour confirming we have accepted the job. If the time needs to move, we sort it then.
- A thirty-minute heads-up on the day — a text when we are on the way, so you are not waiting around.
- We walk the house first. Every exterior door, so we both agree the real cylinder count before anything comes apart. Fewer than quoted means you pay less.
- Nothing is due until it works. Card, tap or check, with an itemised receipt and before-and-after photos.
This is a request, not a locked-in slot yet. Every job is accepted by a human before it is confirmed, so we never send a locksmith to a door we cannot actually cover at that hour. If the time needs to move we will offer you the nearest one that works.
